My placenta encapsulation service includes approximately 75 - 175 placenta capsules that will help nourish you during your first few postpartum weeks. Each placenta is unique in both its size and composition, so I cannot guarantee how many capsules you will receive from your placenta. Along with your placenta capsules you will also receive your baby's umbilical cord carefully dried and placed in a pouch to cherish as a keepsake.
Ideally, the placenta is encapsulated within 48 hours after the birth. Very soon after birth, I will come to wherever you have given birth, home or hospital, and take your placenta back to my home for safe processing. I am basically “on call” for you and will make every effort to come to the hospital (or your home) within a few hours time frame to encapsulate your placenta. Even if you and baby are recovering in the hospital, I can encapsulate your placenta in my home and get the capsules to you right away. I will deliver the pills back to you as well.
I follow strict OSHA & EPA guidelines during the preparation of your placenta. I have all of the necessary equipment and encapsulation materials to complete the process. I only use vegan capsules. All materials used are thoroughly sterilized between each use, when not disposable, and everything meets food grade standards. Aside from the medicinal aspects, I treat the placenta as sacred, and will focus on honoring the work it has done to nourish your baby, while preparing it to continue its work nourishing you. I also have a certificate to handle food.
The cost of my placenta encapsulation is $200. Please contact me if you'd like this amazing service. For an additional $25, I will also take a small part of your placenta and make it into a Tincture (brewed for 6 weeks in alcohol--mailed back to you once it's done). Tinctures also never expire and can be another great, potent way for you to ingest your placenta. Placenta Balm is another great item I provide. Balm is made from nourishing oils, butters, and essential oils. Placenta is rich in stem cells and incredibly healing for the skin. Uses include rapid healing of a c-section wound, rash, eczema, dry skin, scars, etc. 2 ounces for only $25.
